In 2011/2012 Session we are focussing on Litter, Recycling and Grounds for Learning. We are developing more and more links within the campus and working closely with our partner school, Rothesay Academy.
We gained our first Green Flag Award in March 2008 and we were awarded our first Green Flag for our Joint Campus in September 2010.

The Eco Committee visited Bute Produce recently. Mr Billy Miller and Mr Chris Helm showed the pupils around the site and told them all about growing, composting and wind power from their wind turbine.
We had an Eco Stall at the recent Take Time Event. We explained how our Campus Garden is used and gave tours of the garden. We made £40 for Eco funds.
Sam Eccles from the Social Enterprise Academy visited the eco committee on 23rd April. We worked on developing our vegetable garden as a social enterprise and Sam was very impressed with our pupils - so much so, that we received an email to tell us that we have won an award!
On Saturday 15th May the Eco Committee ran a workshop all about our garden at the Argyll and Bute Outdoor Learning Festival. We really enjoyed telling lots of other schools about our garden and how it works as a social enterprise.
Recently we welcomed visitors from Kentucky. They were full of praise for our garden and the way in which we are trying to grow produce for our school kitchens.
