Restorative Practices

P6 and P7 have been trained in Peer Mediation. This involves older pupils taking an active part in resolving conflict in the playground - when they are confident that an adult is not required. Youngsters who are interested in becoming peer mediators will be interviewed for 10 available places. This responsible role helps puplis develop their sense of citizenship and responsibility.

Dogs have been fouling in our school car park.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in school grounds.

We are recycling mobile phones and chargers to raise funds for the school.

Please hand old phones and chargers into the office or the collection point at the Eco table.

PLEASE REMEMBER REMOVE YOU SIM CARD !!

SOLAR PANELS!

Now that our solar panels are installed we are saving lots of energy. You can see how much by viewing the counter in the corridor leading out of the dinner hall and into the academy.

ATTENDANCE FIGURES!

Rothesay Primary's attendance figure was below the Local Authority figure AND the Scottish National Average. While this is caused by a minority of students, it is a situation that we aim to rectify. We would be grateful if you would notify the school if your child is going to be absent.
