Early Snack
Early Snack is now on offer from 8.30am. Children can choose from a range of cereals, fruit, milk and water to drink and toast. Early Snack costs 80p and is served in the Rainbow Room.
The Childsmile Team came in recently to remind us all how important it is to look after our teeth. Cheeky Monkey was there too - up to his usual tricks!
Learning Through Play at Home
Make sure you take a Learning Through Play at Home sheet and let everyone know what your child has been learning at home. Our girls and boys are only in nursery for a short while and they are learning so much when they are not with us. So please share their successes with us - we want to shout about it!
Grandparents Day
A big 'thank you' to all the grandparents that came along to visit. We all enjoyed your visit very much. Thank you for joining in all our activities and making the day such fun!
Gardening Group
We are looking for volunteers to help keep our outdoor play areas neat and tidy.
If you can spare a little time to help weed, mow the grass, trim the willow or mend items, please speak to a member of staff.
Just one or two hours every month would help keep things in order and save our pennies for the children to spend!
Thank you :)
Developmental Milestones
Ask your child's Key Worker about the Developmental Milestones. This is a series of booklets that look at the steps of development your child will make between the ages of 3-5. There are lots of ideas for trying out at home so that mums, dads and carers can help us plan the next steps for your little learner!
PAThS - Promoting Alternative Thinking Skills
Donna is leading a new initiative called PAThS which comes from Canada and has been successful in promoting positive behaviour in children. The children learn to understand their emotions with the help of puppets. There are homelink activities to support the programme with notes to help parents/carers develop this approach outside preschool. Please chat to Donna if you wish to know more.
